Some tips and tutorials regarding Java would be nice to see, but if we want to learn Java we could do it from tens or hundreads of books.

So those tips and tutorials should be especially made for the blind, because the blind Java developers might use other methods for creating their projects, or they might want to know how to do forms layout in SWT and SWING without seeing, or they might want to not use Eclipse or another development environment, but a simple text editor.

If you think you can do even general java tutorials for other things than those especially targetted for the blind only, it could be interesting to read about:
- How to create an accessible Java applet;
- How to create a simple SWT and a simple SWING program;
- How to create a website using .jsp;
- What is Tomcat and a few tips for installing, configuring and using it;
- What is JBoss and a few tips for installing, configuring and using it;
- What is EJB and a few tips for starting to learn it, what is used for...;
- Which are the most important web frameworks used by Java developers and a few tips for getting, installing, configuring and using the most used ones;
- How to create a multi-process and a multi-threading application;
- How to create a web server using Java, and how to create/use a web client in java, (a very simple one, of course); - Which tools to use for creating an executable for windows that runs a Java program; - A few examples of creating a server and a client for web-services (SOAP and others); - How to access and use databases with and without an ORM with Java (SQLite, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle...); - Which are the most used templating systems for web apps made with Java, and a few tips for using them; - If there are classes or libraries that allows the java developers to do a higher level programming, for not doing everything from zero, tell us something about them;
- A few examples of how to use regular expressions in java.

Do please continue with your tutorals. I don't have any preference, you can do java or eclipse, I find eclipse still a bit confusing. I am also learning java. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Corbett, James" <James.Corbett@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hello all:

First of all, I would like to know if any one is benefiting from my
tutorial efforts?

Secondly, if so should we continue on the Eclipse aspect or should I
focus on Java? Did you know Java is a four letter word.
