The list you are looking for is called program-l. Search for it on
freelists.

Hello,

I believe I remember someone mentioning on this list that there is a
programming list for blind developers, not Java specific.
Could someone send me the link to this list?

Also, any idea if any of them have any experience or knowledge about
programming using Aria and/or EXTJS?

Thanks in advance,
Pamela

George:

I'm now using Titanium which one of the listers recommended last week.

...and for the moment I'm developing in Windows until I sort out what Power
Book I will need. I tried to contact our local Apple Store and well that was
a waste of time. I contacted Frontier Computing in Toronto and spoke with
their tech guy and I could have gotten more out of a wet sponge.

Jim:

What development platform are you likely to be using?

I'm using Madcap Flare since it is a single-source Help development tool.
Hence from one set of files, I currently produce a .chm for Windows, and
also Word files of the same content where hard copy is required. I'll be
creating WebHelp soon, but need to get help.air files working first.

We're now developing the main software for the MAC, which is proceeding
quite well, but this .air issue is driving me nuts.

That said, I've just raised a support ticket with Madcap.

George.

Not as of yet but I'm gearing up for such.

Have any of you had any experience of Adobe AIR and producing Help files in
this format for the MAC?

George.
