Hi: Hmmm, obviously for your testing / developing you will need a Java runtime VM and that is your default but I'm not sure abut the latter option. Before I got Eclipse, I installed the JDK and was using a text editor. When I started to make my Java project in Eclipse, it asked me if I wanted to use several JRE's.
