procps-ng version 3.3.3 has been released today. This release contains a lot of important bug fixes as well as some feature enhancements. The NEWS file contained in the archive has most of the changes and of course the git logs shows everything in its gory detail, but here are some highlights: * New watch -g command: repeat until something changes * Many top enhancements * top can read old toprc configuration files * Lots of man page cleanups and fixups After release, there were some things that were noticed. They are now fixed in git but not in 3.3.3: * If you change the dates of some files, auto* tools will break due to missing script * Cannot compile with --enable-watch8bit due to missing variables * If you create a tar file with no --enable-skill and then try to compile with that flag there are missing files * Cannot compile with --disable-whining - still to be fixed Each of these fixes are minor and the patches can be obtained from the git repository if needed, except the last one. - Craig -- Craig Small VK2XLZ http://enc.com.au/ csmall at : enc.com.au Debian GNU/Linux http://www.debian.org/ csmall at : debian.org GPG fingerprint: 5D2F B320 B825 D939 04D2 0519 3938 F96B DF50 FEA5
