The "new headphones" are not the permanent replacement(s). They are my own personal ones that I am willing to risk having stolen, broken, or even more blown out than they are. It is a favor; polite people do not complain about temporary problems and favors. The station managers are responsible for buying new ones. Please direct any complaints or problems to them. Their email addresses are posted at the station (and phone #'s) and also on the PRA Web site. If they are such a problem, I can take them home and those who don't own a pair themselves would have to do without. I would be happy to do so if there are more complaints? I am working on fixing the old ones, although I feel they're no better than the Sony pair I am loaning the station, but work for PRA takes a lower priority than real work that pays $$$. Sorry, that's life. Again, please direct comments like these to the station managers, not to me nor the "PRA DJs" list. Thank you!
