Am I the only one that does not understand what the podcasting computer has to to with the computer we use to broadcast? The podcasting computer has been out of commission for weeks. I understand the CPU going to S#it but I do not understand what the podcasting computer has to do with it. Noah Fence Date: Wed, 28 Oct 2009 16:46:55 -0700 Subject: [pradjs] Re: FIXED! To: esperflan@xxxxxxxxx Looks like I'm going to convert the CPU Graham gave to us into our new streaming computer. Please let us know if this happens again! You can call me on my cell and I'll walk you through the process. Sounds like that old CPU is going to shit ... it happens :) Mike On Wed, Oct 28, 2009 at 4:40 PM, Esperanza Flanagan <esperflan@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: It was a team effort, really... And just so everyone's aware, what had happened was that the podcasting computer had lost power somehow. Not quite sure why, but whenever we tried to power it on, it would turn on, whirr for a few seconds, then turn off all over again. After jiggling a few wires in the back, but not actually doing much more than that, when we tried to turn it on again, it turned on and stayed on and, so far, has been on ever since. Anyways, not sure if Mike can shed any light on what was going on there for a while but, in any case, if anyone notices during their show that that ground-level computer monitor has gone out, they're probably not broadcasting anymore! So just try turning that white podcasting computer on and wait until it stays on again.
