Hi Mary, what a poem! It had me intrigued by its original structure. I like the
way the apparent wayward ‘stream-of-consciousness’ of each book (& it’s mark)
is bookended by the statement & contemplation of what people leave in books!
The concrete shift from sorting the books to sorting an exhibition (which
you’ve already started to expose via the personal relationship ‘wounds’ &
memories in the body of the poem). It’s powerful because these people could be
you & me, all over the floor, in a mess, fragmented snippets of insight, as
most books (that leave their marks) invariably are. I got a little lost at
times but the ending pulls me up & makes me think. Great stuff!
Care, Tru

Hi all,
I'd been having trouble with posting my feedback to you for last week. I'll
organise this again when I get a minute (which has been difficult this week)
& likewise read yours.
Meantime, I've written something for this week's challenge.
Thank you everyone for your patience with me. With what I've read so far, I
am gobsmacked. 😊
Cheers
Mary
