There is a simple solution to the mailing list vs. web interface issue. Keep the mailing list, and go ask the guys at MARC to add phpa to their mailing list archives. Then you will have a web-based searchable archive of it. That is what we do with the Smarty mailing list, you can see it's archives here: http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=smarty&r=1&w=2 Here is the homepage for MARC, you'll see a list of all the mailing lists they currently archive: http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/ What they do is put an automated "user" on the mailing list that archives everything it gets. It takes a matter of seconds to setup.
