If you haven't got any conflicting software I suppose that means it is
an ArminiX problem - unless the different version of RISC OS is
causing it.
I'm using a 64224K PhotoDesk Image Cache if that makes any difference.

Tried with minimal boot but no difference.
I am going to have to live with the problem for a while.
I suspect you are right about the version of the OS.
I don't want to change the OS level as the machine is supported by
RCOMP.
I will copy this note to Chris Evans and Andrew Rawnsley to see if
either has any suggestions.
