Loading a JPEG from an external USB hard-drive into the newly released
Photodesk 3.14 takes 112 secs. The drive LED is constantly flickering
on and off.
If I place Photodesk and the image in RAM load time is the same. The
image still appears to be loaded from the hard-drive (disc activity
LED the same).
With Photodesk 3.12 JPEG load time is about 3 secs for the same image.
3.14 has a new jpeg loader - is there anyway of improving the speed?
