Make sure you read the documentation carefully, Phorm is a powerful program and can do a lot. Just follow the documentation carefully and you'll be fine. There is an old saying: "If it aint broke - don't fix it" Can you not remove the read-only specification from that file? You shouldn't go around renaming files that Phorm uses, as they are referenced from within the script. Unless you are a programmer with experience using PHP, I'd suggest you leave the files as they are, and just use the program as outlined in the documentation. As it happens, phormbase is another that can be renamed, the order of preference is .php3, .php, .txt but it would make it much easier from a support point of view if you leave the file names the way they are, because I will assume that you haven't changed things like filenames. Thus it will be hard to provide support for you in the future.
