PLEASE NOTE: the outlay figures are correct, and their sums over long enough
periods can show trends. But these Out figures do not precisely represent
either when the expense was incurred nor exactly when it was paid. That's
all available in the checking account, just not precisely on this chart.
(E.g., about $700 paid in CY 2016 was for expenses in CY 2015).
The Income, however, is very time-accurate, always reflecting the event
(rehearsal or concert) when the check was received except in rare cases.
A strong encouraging note is that our average monthly dues/contributions
receipts have gone up 35% from CY 2015 to CY 2016 ($401->$544). Also, our
year-to-date income is up from last year, and our dues receipts, while quite
low in February, bounced back in March. The amount we took in in March,
2016, however, was only 8% more than in January, 2015 ($575 vs. $530). But
the income trend is at least for stability, if not growth.
