There might be a fly in the ointment here. I recently realized that
the Executive Board actually can't make the decision about
compensation. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the bylaws only
say one thing about the executive board, which is that it handles
certain matters of board member dismissals. Note that Russ and Anna
aren't even on the executive board. Not sure how this should be
handled, but I'm pretty sure the entire board has to vote on the
contract, not just the executive.
