It doesn't IMO. I would rather like Pe to resize to:
Window's width = (# entered in Fixed Column's pref) * (width of "w" for the
current font).
for new files (or when there's no pe_info attribute data).
BTW, I would love to Zoom (ALT+/) to that width instead of full screen.
