Hm, I haven't tried to build anything on haiku recently, so I do not know for 
sure, but I personally would recommend building on BeOS for now.

Which do you mean by "original one"? The ehopt.c of gcc-2.95.3 or the one from 
the original gcc-4 distribution? If the latter, I suppose things might be ok, 
but it is always hard to tell with changes like that.
