I am sending this message again as I got no reply the first time. Must have had
something incorrect in the address.

I am past this now as I had to reinstall XP. I will append the previous
messages to update what I thought was closed. (my BSOD problem)

I could not get this to work so reformatted and reinstalled xp.

I would still like to know the answer from below.

I have had to boot from my XP OS disk and I am trying to restore a ERNDT backup.
I am following the procedure that comes with the ERNDT program on the page that
explains Emergency scenario II.
Everything works per the description down to typing in DIR to locate the
folders where ERNDT resides.
When I do this I get

09/01/13 09:12a d------- 0.
09/01/13 09:12a d------- 0..
08/31/13 08:31a d--------0 8-31-2013
09/01/13 09:12a d--------0 9-1-2013

My problem is how do I input the next step which is to type in folder name, cd
foldername <enter>

Do I type in 09/01/13 09:12a d-------- 0 as the folder name?

Thanks
Larry
