I swear that a higher power than me must not want me to have a working computer - my desktop still sits waiting for me to try and figure out how to complete the reformat. In the meantime I'm using my laptop which has XP. Since I switched over to it on Saturday I was having no problem at all when I would open an e-mail and there was more than one attachment that I wanted to save, to right click and choose 'save all'. Then last night WHAM the computer devil attacked! If I try to right click and choose 'save all' I get a message saying "there was an error saving one or more of the attachments. Please check your free disk space and try again" - well I have a 30 gig hard drive on here and only 7 gig is used and I even did a defrag just in case. I think that somehow a setting got changed but I don't know where and I hope someone else does. Reason I came to this conclusion is my daughter called and said she couldn't e-mail me because she got it returned saying I was over quota - well this shouldn't have been so checked it out and that computer devil had changed all my settings to leave the mail on the server after downloading to my computer - so of course I was over quota! So sorry for rambling - but does anyone know where I can look for a setting so that I can fix it and once again be able to save a group of attachments from an e-mail without having to do them one by one which takes me forever :-( Thanks for any help - Dolores To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ For more info: //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=pctechtalk
