What a great list!! Glad I found it...
I hope this first question is kosher......
Last spring after my computer bit the dust, numerous online friends
were advising me to build my own pc (which is a bit laughable as I'm just now
really learning how everything works). Anyway, at the time I went to one
computer sales/show and picked up WINXP. To make a long story short, I'm just
now able to get around to getting a newer PC, and want to know: Can I re-sell
this? It is still in the wrapper with the license number on it, has never been
opened. Or is that illegal and should I just pass it on to my cousin who
still has WIN98?
I'm an artist wanting to build a website and get my work online.
I've been advised that the minimum I should look for is 2.0-2.6 GHZ, 256 RAM,
no less than 40 GB HD. Has everyone here built their own systems, or are
there folks who have purchased complete systems, and if so, what do people
recommend?
