I think I'm about to get my ears singed <laugh> Lee, I'm one of those people you described......the ones who just shut off my computer. Before you crucify me though, remember what you just described. I too went through the same thing, people jumping on even if I sent a message and said I was going to disconnect. I finally decided that I didn't have time to coddle people and adopted a "disconnect when I need to, not when the people downloading allow me to" attitude. If someone doesn't complete their download, it's easy to pick up from another source. I've done it many times. <ducking fast and running> Regards from the "Keyboard Cowboy", Master NetLord ,,,,, Ô¿Ô¬ Cincinnati, Ohio Scottsdale, Arizona «::::»¤«::::»¤¤«::::»¤«::::» Tuesday 07/23/2002 5:24:41 PM On Tue, 23 Jul 2002 10:24:31 -0700, Lee Rhodes wrote: > >One other reason (as I have been very guilty of setting my uploads >low) is because when I had it set so 3 or 4 could upload and I would >find that I needed to turn my machine off...to restart of what ever. >I would be down to one uploader and every time I would have someone >want to start a new upload I would send them a message that I was >having to shut my machine down......they would either not read their >message or ignore it and each time I would end the upload they would >start it again.
