When you make a link, or even when pointing to an image, you don't need to
put the entire address.
Example:

<img src="http://www.domain.com/picture.jpg";>

This will show the image file "picture.jpg".

If you're working on your "index.html" file, and both the index.html and
picture.jpg are in the same directory, you just enter the file name, like
so:
<img src="picture.jpg">

If you put ../ that means that the location is one directory up. If you put
../../ that means the location is two directories up.
