hmmmm -
I don't see "local users and groups" after I right click on
my computer and manage....
I get a computer management window open -
it says
computer management (Local)
+System Tools
+storage
+Services and applications

and nothing like that opens in the + tree.

If you have administrator rights, you should still be able
to remove your son's password-protected account. Right-click
on MY
COMPUTER and select MANAGE. Go to LOCAL USERS AND GROUPS >
USERS and delete his name/identity. Then, also delete
c:\documents and
settings\username.

my old computer has 3 identities on it. They all have
administrator rights. I want to remove my son's identity, as
he no longer uses that computer. He did install some
programs through his identity though. Will I have problems
if I remove his identity? He has active programs like
outlook express on his name. Plus, the *&^% child of mine
has his name password protected.
I am assuming I can get him to unpassword protect his name.
what about the other stuff?
and exactly how do I remove his identity?
thanks!
