Been there done that...thanks. I have both sp1 and 2 on cd. but not the 
updates for AV..THAT is the problem..it came in while I was trying to update 
THAT. Such is life.

Send for the Windows xP SP2 disk so you can put on the major updates before
you go on line so you do not get the virus/trojans.
It is free. Here is the order form page. Everyone should have one in case of
an emergency reinstall.
