(the Pro version) is because it makes it easy to move my swap file to a
different drive and the cache settings help (can be changed to several
pre-sets or you can assign custom settings) and the way they set it up to
work with the memory manager seems to work better than a separate mem
manager and a separate cache manager. The other release Ram program (I
think its free) does not seem to work as well as the Pro version.

usage I leave a lot of space on my c drive - more than 2 gigs. I moved "My
Documents to a different drive and my Internet download folders and other
data and picture storage folders to other partitions which helps keep my c
drive from filling up - and that also gives me one more chance of not losing
important files if Windows decides to crash or it craps out enough that I
have to reformat the c drive. Also I keep master file folders on some
partitions - if I want to put folders or files on removable media disks I
copy them to a temporary folder and then copy the folders/files to the
removable storage disk. That way if anything goes wrong the master
folders/files remain intact.

msconfig window so that you can see the full paths for most of the programs
which will help you figure out which programs are requesting to start with
Windows.
