I have not the skill nor the knowledge to pull things apart..asside from the fact this a brand NEW computer under warranty...if I mess with it then the there is a problem besides the one I have. I have heard that so to speak SOME programs set up to be the only kid on the block and they won't let anything ELSE in. I didn't choose this program... it was included in a bundle..had I known I would have said NO...but it went along with another program I have already dumped and replaced with other spyware stuff. THAT did download... it's the firewalls etc that won't work. IF I can get SOMETHING on a disk that I can install offline AFTER I supposedly remove Norton, I might be alright. I can update online...I was wondering if I could buy AVG on disk..and then go the route of uninstall Norton. I don't want to be without something online. hmmmmmm.
