The problem you have is one I have had a gazillion times. Sometimes my
error..other times..rude programs...

What has happened is your jpg's (and maybe other file types, have become
'associated' with this program.

(Decide what program you want associated with that file. For instance, I
use Paint Shop Pro for my Jpg (Jpeg) files. Now, when I look in a folder
and there are jpg's there.. it will show the file type as .jpg..but it was
also have the PSP logo as an icon.)

In any case..it is one I have had to fix a bunch of times.. and for some
reason I can never remember how to do it...so..this is what I do:

(I do not know/remember if you said.... what operating system you have.....)

But,

Go to

Start
    Help

When that comes up... Hit the Content Tab
            type in: File Associations
If that does not tell you what to do..try ...Changing File Associations.

What will happen is you will be telling the computer which program to use to
read/view your jpg files.

If you have further problems, holler.

Hugs,
Rose
Las Vegas
