Although there are some advantages to the new "Ribbon" bar, I think its
ridiculous that some of the features you can't even get to without creating
a custom ribbon that you place the icons on. I use a program called
"Classic Menu for Office 2007" (see link below if interested) that gives you
a new tab named "Menu" that basically gives you the same menu's that Office
2003/2000 used, unfortunately its not free. Kinda crazy considering that
you need to spend more money to give you the functionality of the older
version.

I will try but I have to say right now "not a big fan AT ALL of microsoft
office professional plus 2007. The interface , look of it is TOTALLY
different than my microsoft office 2000 and the one at work which is 2003.
I am lost using this program, yuk.

I thought I got a great deal money wise on it now I want an older version
;0.

I don't use Office much at all (I'm running 2003 and can count on my two
hands how many times I've used Word), so I'm no expert on any of this. But
I have to wonder if you couldn't just remove the link, save the file and
then recreate the link to get rid of the extra baggage the first one
includes.

Peace,
