I had this happen on my old computer a year or so ago. I
never did figure it out. It was frustrating for sure.
It almost has to be a setting somewhere - to allow or not
allow something - active X or java or who knows what. I
wasnt' getting graphics on web pages, and I finally figured
out it was a pop up blocker on a firewall I was using at the
time.

You have to uncheck the box under trusted zone and sites
that says:
"require server verification (https:) for all sites in this
zone"then it will put it in to the trusted zone.been there,
done
that!
