I had this happen on my old computer a year or so ago. I never did figure it out. It was frustrating for sure. It almost has to be a setting somewhere - to allow or not allow something - active X or java or who knows what. I wasnt' getting graphics on web pages, and I finally figured out it was a pop up blocker on a firewall I was using at the time.
