Joyce,
thanks for the advice.
I run windows ME, and have had to recently reformat my hard drive in the
last couple months... and did a few months before that, and the spam just
increases...sigh ...
my server is pretty crummy, he knows there is problems, but since he is the
only game in town with low prices $15 a month for unlimited access...
everything else is long distance besides...
need less to say he also has fingers in our local phone company too...
to he can turn a deaf ear to constant complaints... or rather expect his
employees too...

I really hate to go through the hassle of changing my email... address...

I may ask Judith how to set up folders like she is doing & see if that is
easy enough for me to do & if it works...????

Thanks again,
Faythe :-)

dial up. I was
having your problem and it just seemed to get worse as time went on. My ISP
is local and they also provide tech support and build computers. Anyway I
complained (practically spammed them) repeatedly. They talked me into going
with a clean install of Win XP and I have not had a bit of trouble since. I
don't know why that would help but it worked for me.
I would be getting my e-mail and off would go the connection and then I
would get all that mail again and woe to me if someone sent an attachment or
something with lots of graphics and music.
For what it's worth, this is what solved my problem.
Joyce
