I learned something today... at Circuit City, of all places.  Wireless 
devices for your network operate on 2.4MHZ.  The same frequency that your 
old coldless phone used.  Remember the range on that little booger?  It 
ain't much, if any, better in wireless devices.

So, unless your wireless gateway is very close to the front of the house, 
driveway or road your standard non-wireless security measures plus WEP/WPA 
and 128-bit encryption should be safe enough....  Unless you are paranoid.
