Hi Jo Ann,

I checked my security settings on my computer for ie under tools and 
security against his and was the same settings.  I have no problem 
installing the active x.

Maybe your browser settings. Check your web or security settings in your
browser through the tools tab. I use Firefox and it has a box to check in
web settings to allow web sites to install software.

What would  cause active x not to install when you want it to, like for an
online scanner or something?
