Thanks Hank,
I do't know jet if she has a start-up disk. If she does not have it =
where can I find the Windows folder that has format.exe on it.=20
Can I find it at the same place WindowsMe has it where you can make a =
Start-up floppy when you go to Control Panel/add remove programs/Windows =
Setup??
sylvia.=20

Hi Silvia, I do it like this, Make a floppy disk and make sure =
format.exe is on it, if it isn't then copy it from Windows folder to the =
floppy, Start the computer with the floppy then make sure it loads the =
CD drives, at the A:> type format C: it will tell you it will erase all =
info. click ok and you are on your way.
Sincerely Yours,
Hank

  Hello to all,
  Can somebody who runs Windows 98 tell me how the best way is to format =
=3D
  it. Tomorrow I'm going to help a friend to format her computer. I have =
=3D
  WindowsME myself and I think there is not much difference with =
Windows98 =3D
  but just to be on the safe side I'm asking it here.
  Sylvia........Holland.
