I am using Windows XP Media Center 2004 (It is built on Windows XP Pro.) I have no idea if that had anything to do with it..but again, All I got was the text.. I did not get the graphic. The links on page worked. What is interesting...is ..I clicked on the link (one the second page..the one with the animation instructions) and I went to the main page... that was good. I then tried to save the main page..and I got a page with NO text and some red X's. I think.. because the text is written on a background on the main page... I see nothing. On the other page the text was on a blank background and the only graphic was at the top. This is getting curious-er and curious-er...to quote a very intelligent cartoon/story character... This may not shed any light on this situation, but it sure muddies the water.... hmmmmm! ?????, Rose Las Vegas ----- Original Message ----- From: "Donna" <lonerangr@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, July 13, 2004 9:48 AM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Saving HTML Pages Cris, i saved the page with all the tuts..not just this tut..i couldn't save it either..using windows xp too..Donna ----- Original Message ----- From: "cris" <cris@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, July 13, 2004 10:14 AM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Saving HTML Pages > I just tried it again - it acts like it's saving to about 91 % - then says > error - can't save..... > when I saw donna saved it, I was wondering if she used xp - and if it was > settings - but now, if hers didn't really save.... why did rose's save..... > > cris > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Pat > To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Sent: Monday, July 12, 2004 9:49 PM > Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Saving HTML Pages > > > I sent it to my mail and have it there but how did you > save the html file I have tried repeatedly and so has Donna > but we get the same error..she thought shed saved it but looked and > didnt have it!!!!!! > this is strange > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Tech Rose - LoveBytes" <TechRose@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Monday, July 12, 2004 9:41 PM > Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Saving HTML Pages > > > I finally got the site to come up for me... > > I did get to save the tut as an html file. > > If you want me to, I can send it to you.
