OK, lets find out what kind of video you have...

1) Open Control Panel
2) If you are in Category View, then you will have to click "Performance and
Maintenance".
-- Is there an option for "NVidia Control Panel"? or anything NVidia?  If
so, then you can run that and use the NVidia instructions I sent last night
and skip the rest of this.
3) Double click System 
4) Click Hardware tab
5) Click Device Manager
6) Click the + next to Display Adapters to open the list
7) What does it say under Display Adapters?

     Thanks for the info. No, I don't have a separate video card. The
monitor 
plugs into the motherboard.
