Judith,

There is a setting to enable Restore. Once enabled it works automatically
to create restore points. I'm not sure what triggers the restore points but
I'm sure someone with more knowledge will jump in with that.

Instead I will talk about Trend Micro Internet Security 2007. I found
during installation on 4 different machines (I bought two licenses for 3
machines each) that it is very important to have a pretty clean machine to
install it on. This is CRITICAL if you have or had anything Norton
installed on your machine, since Norton refuses to remove all traces of
itself even when using the tool they provide and the tool warns you that it
will remove everything Norton from your system.

I have also noticed that it does not remember Approvals and Denials very
well. Frequently during an install the same exact (by name anyway) program
runs multiple times and each time I leave the box checked to remember the
approval but it simply does not remember. This is especially true during
Windows Update.

These two problems have caused me to switch to using Computer Associates CA
Internet Security 2007 which my ISP provides to me for free. When the
licenses expire on each machine I will do a clean install of Windows and
then install the CA program. If I do a clean install before they expire
I'll make the switch then.

Don
