I have not had Norton for many years. I have Recycle Bin on my desktop as it has been since I began using a computer in 1998. The Recycler has just appeared in the past month or so. I first discovered in my F Drive where I put my backups. I reasoned that anything that was in the backup drive was expendable! When I dug around to see what was in there I found some files that I had recently deleted from My Documents. Those are the ones I deleted again. I do thank you for responding and I will just leave well enough alone since they seem to be doing no harm.
