It sounds like you were using Windows Media Player - the easiest thing
to do is download and reinstall it.

Have downloaded and installed the newest version. Have also followed Rob's
instructions to remove the spyware. Anyone who does this should look closely
at the options. After reading the privacy statement, there were several
other boxes I unchecked.
