Don,

OK pal, my misunderstanding. Now that you made it clear, I agree that
people replying to a post should not delete any of the post for that reason.
Sorry for my misunderstanding.

Now about IRC.
It is a place where people can go and talk with instant reply. Just like
talking face to face except it's on a computer and over a network. The
network where our channel will be is very safe so there is no worry there
about being bothered.

To go to the channel you must first go to http://www.mirc.com/ and download
mIRC. There will be a link on the left of the screen saying to download
mirc.

Once you have it downloaded, install it onto your computer. I guarantee
this program will not harm your computer in any way. It is very safe.
After mirc is installed on your computer click on the icon it puts on your
desktop. The icon is Red, Blue and Yellow. Once it's installed, look it
over and set it up. It's pretty self explanatory but if you have any
problems ask me and I'll help you.

Once it's setup open it by double clicking on the desktop icon and a big
screen will pop up. at the bottom of the screen you will see a small box
which goes across the bottom of that screen. That's where you type. In
that box type,
/server irc.starlink-irc.org that will put you online with the network the
channel is on. Once I have the channel opened I will send everyone an email
telling them the name of the channel and how to get there.

Hope this helps.
Bob
