I have seen Partition Magic fragment files very much
but I do not know what else would do it. Anyway I am
glad you got it fixed. By the way, if you click on
Help and Support and type in chkdsk in the search box
on top. It will return two articles. One for the
recovery console and one for the command prompt. They
will give all the switchs and explain what they are
for.
