Hi K,
You could try running checkdisk. Go to
Start/Programs/Accessories/Command Prompt and when the
box opens type  CHKDSK \F  It will give you a message
that it can't do it but can at reboot; type  Y  and
close the command prompt and restart your puter. If
this does or does not work let me know.
