Billie,

First of all, as pointed out to me before, I typed the wrong word there.  I 
did not mean "reformatted".  I meand
"Defragment"  To do this to to your Start menu in WinXP and follow the path 
to:

START/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Disk Defragmenter.  Once you're 
there and your defragment program is opened click on "Analyze".  Then it 
will tell you if you need to defragment.
