yes - and also, my son is building me a new computer, and if the cd comes in time, I could use it before the system goes online, to protect it from all the gremlins out there waiting to attack it!! Sort of the same thing - if I need to re-install the operating system, putting the cd in, would protect me. I don't have enough room right now on my hard drive to put it on this computer - so I need to do some moving things around, re-partitioning the hard drives - and then, put it on. If the cd comes in time, I would use that instead of downloading it. I'm on a cable modem, so speed shouldn't be a problem for me with the download. I do have friends though, that can't even get the normal updates to download on their dial up connections.
