I think I first googled Open Office and then chose to purchase from Amazon. I was amazed and surprised to find so many goodies on one disk. Open office is just one of them. Total cost, including shipping was less than $7.00. I don't know if it is Vista compatible. I will go to their web site and see if I can find out.
