Hopefully with the passing of time and increased popularity of safer browsers like Firefox, web designers will slowly stop creating sites with ActiveX controls. (Having said that, as long as there is the facility for _any_ kind of programming language in websites and e- mail clients, there will be malicious programmers looking to exploit it.) You may want to install this handy extension for Firefox. It will enable you to right-click any link in Firefox and open that link up with IE. Bit of a time-saver.
