For Big Marc and Connie,
Marc, even though they have the note pad icon, go to properties and look
and you should see that they are still .dbx files....so just ignore the icon.
Connie,
Yours is a bit different. When you right click on the folder, go to
Properties and see what it says the file extension is. Also look and see if
there is an open with option
..

Now that BRENDA problem is OK......
Following the conversation with BRENDA I just try to read my deleted item
folder
And I then try to open it using NOTEPAD but he then says it was to big for
NOTEPAD and then ask for WORDPAD....
I then say YES and was able to read garbage and text....
UNTIL THEN ITS OK...
But now the problem is, if it's a problem, that the .DBX icon on ALL my OE
folders has been changed for WORDPAD ones.....
QUESTION : IS THAT A PROBLEM or NOT ???? and if yes how to correct that???
My OE is 5.50 on WIN-98 SE
and my OE is REPLICATED every 24hrs with (using) Karens Kenworthy REPLICATOR
except yesterday I instructed it to do not replicate cause of this situation
