    It was my understanding that the upcoming version of AOL is/was to be
based on the open source Mozilla.  I guess I have a bit of research to do
before I'll understand any of this thread.          :O}

Netscape is owned by AOL, which is owned by AOL TIME WARNER.  AOL is
having financial problems and maybe part of the business is to eliminate
redundancy.  I wonder if that would include Compuserve.  Does any one
know if the new AOL 8 is based on Microsoft Internet Explorer as the
previous AOL versions are.  I just wonder why AOL does not use it's own
product.  Could it be they think Microsoft has a better one?
