Sandi, I don't think the untitled files are not titled because YOU left them like that. I think whatever process compressed them also renamed them. That means you'll be trying to match these files with your memory of what you've saved. This is what must be done in order for you to reclaim your old files. 1. Shorten the name of the existing file to make it easier to handle. (i.e. Change "_2B9AA9E04E984BE8858EAD60509F92A7" to "92A7") 2. Open up the file with a viewer that can recognize what's inside. (I'm seeking out one that you can download for free) 3. Extract the file inside. (This might be done by the app above.) 4. Rename the extracted file slightly. (both of the files inside the ones you sent have the same name so you'll need to add a number to the end - Untitledo1, Untitledo2, etc.) 5. Use the Viewer app to look inside each extracted file. You will NOT be looking at one of your cards the way you're used to seeing them. My hope is that you will recognize the descriptive words inside as belonging to a particular card. If not, we'll have to wait until we can get that Card Making program working and open them up with that to see exactly what they are. I have included the contents of one of these files below so you can see what I mean by "descriptive words". ***************************** ~always angel!Taround7 arrangement? backgroundbarnCJ`bear#bearsbirthday%blocks bow$bowsXboybroomcandlescandy=cane=carolersH[cat$cats chocolate3 christmas%&5;churchPclose'cocoa cookies3 countrysideQcoveredJdear( decorated-)deservecdesigndog#&Gdoily*doveZelf@AelvesBextra+flowersflyingfor 6frame*8french,friend'(Sfrom<fruit-fullIfun:giftgifts.9EIgreen greeting+hatshave/holdingMholiday0holly12horn,hot 3house\how4joyous5just6kids7lamppost8lights@DlistAlittle;living9lots:loveamailboxRmanicure manly;mesage<mouse1=much4mugornament ornamentsU partridge>pear> poinsettia*?L poinsettias2ponder"presentpurple@ABquiltred CXreindeerDribbons!ride_room9sackEsanta<FGscene]^shoesshoppersingingHNsled0]sleigh.I_snowJ snowflake snowglobeKsnowman LMNOsnowyPQRspecial+SstarsTstockingUV stockingsFteateddytell/thoughtsWY^tree-)7>XtryingwarmestYwhiteZwinter[\]^_wintery`wish 4with !$9Xawoman womenwreath-Mbyou 6Wc ***************************** The other file is larger, so it contains more of these types of descriptors. I have no idea whether these descriptions actually coincide with the contents of the actual card. It only tells me that the card seems to be intact and ready to be displayed. If you can tell me the extension normally used by the completed cards you save, I might be able to get even further with additional testing. Please advise while I look for a viewer app for you. :O) Peace, GMan http://reddit.com "The only dumb questions are the ones we fail to ask!" ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sandi Beach" <sandib2@xxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, January 13, 2008 6:02 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: My Documents > Ohmygosh!!!
