So good responsible computing should send me to the Acer website to acquire 
these things.  And to Lite-on for my new DVD/CD burner, and to ATI for my 
new ATI Graphics Accelerator Card. I also have a new Processor and new power 
supply.
And getting all of these at about the same time makes it more difficult to 
isolate the cause of the little problems I am encountering.
I ran check disk this morning and let it fix anything it found so time will 
tell if that helped.
And if I don't hear from my local tech by Monday or Tuesday, AND if I am 
still having problems, I will be back to pester you guys!
