My only suggestion would be to go ahead and see if this specific registry 
key exists on his system.  If it does, delete the "First Home Page" entry 
from the right pane at that location within the registry.

You can open up the registry editor by going to Start > Run , typing in 
REGEDIT and pressing the Enter key.
