G, I thought I knew how to make a screen shot because I do it so easily with my computer. In mine I simply press screen shot button, open Paint Shop Pro, paste as new image, save as a .jpg. With his computer, I don't know what to do after I press the print screen key. I tried to use paint, that was unproductive. Then Windows photo gallery, again nothing. And lastly, I tried to paste it in Word...also fruitless. Do I need to install Paint Shop Pro in his computer to get this done? So, here is one more from me instead. lol First, open up Regedit and go to Edit > Find. The 3 "Look at" boxes should all be checked, but the very bottom box (Match ...) should not. Enter the term 'Welcome.htm' and then click on the Find Next button to start the search. If you get a hit, take a screenshot and upload it to me (link below). Then, press your F3 key to continue looking for another hit. If you get another, grab the screen and send that, too. Continue using F3 to look or more until you eventually get a pop-up that tells you that you've reached the end of the registry. I should receive a screenshot for each hit you find, so it will be easiest to just name them by numbers (1.jpg, 2.jpg, etc.). I'll know what they are just by looking at them. I just ran the same query on my own registry and it didn't find any. http://74.47.246.37/UPLOADS/ Peace, G "The only dumb questions are the ones that are never asked" ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jan Robey" <hrstreak@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, June 12, 2008 12:13 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Internet Explorer not functioning --------------------------------------------------------------- Please remember to trim your replies (including this sentence and everything below it) and adjust the subject line as necessary.
