There are mainstream sites that say things about its increased security, while other, more tech-based sites are advising to steer clear of it until they work out the bugs. Since the mainstream sites say nothing at all about the bugs, I have come to the conclusion that MS is paying them for those 'good' articles. lol Unless you have a compelling reason to put your system at risk, hold off until the tech sites conclude that the crasking issues are no longer there. It will probably MS take an update to 8.1 before it's ready for 'prime time'.
